[SOLVED] 650w PSU enough for RTX 3070 and I9 10850K?

Hi guys! Was just wondering the question in the title. The power supply is a Thermaltake Toughpower 650w GOLD (not RGB or anything).

I'm currently running the 3070 already with an I7 6700k, and the TDP will increase by 34W for the CPU. Will this be alright?

The i9 10850k takes much more than 34 more watts than the 6700k.

The 6700k takes up to around 80watts in real world, while the 10850k takes 120-150watts.
in retrospec that is quite close to 34.

That psu will be enough, but not enough for me to feel comfortable recommending this config.
You could run it for a while, then upgrade.

You're probably OK. Like siaan above, I tend to be more comfortable with more headroom, but this PSU is fine; it's at the end of Thermaltake's product stack that you actually want to own.

Yes, it's an excellent PSU.

The RMx is better but there is no reason to change the Thermaltake when you're not having any issue.
