660 or 7850

Let me be clear, i know these 2 cards perform almost exactly the same, the only reason i am asking is because i really like the sound of project shield, is the extra £30 worth it so i can use project shield when it comes out?

actually im talking about the non ti version, that performs the same as a 7850

Well it goes against the 7850 but yes and then after the 660 the 660Ti blows past the 7870 and probably sits somewhere under the 7950. But yea with project shield why not right get the GTX660. I'd love to sit somewhere in my house and play off my 670.

the gtx 660 is compatible with the shield project, also similar performance to the 7870, so u know it all depends what ur needs are, and whats cheapest at the time of purchase.

I wonder though if it would be better to wait for the newer cards for project shield you know to get that extra boost. A GTX660 is great and all but I wonder how more beefy cards handle things.
