660 sli stutter

Hello,
I have two evga gtx 660's in sli with an Intel 2600 in an gigabyte z77x-up7. When I boot up my PC and start tot play a game or something it really starts tot stutter, and somethimes the display drivers crash. The only way tot fix this is by pressing the reset button and hard restart the computer.

It is really anoying, so please help me?

First I would try a different driver if that one is crashing. Download the new driver do not install it and use a driver sweeper to get rid of all traces of the old driver then install the new one.
I would also cap the in game FPS to 60.

Has it ever worked? When did it change? What PSU do you have?

There have been a dozen of updates from Nvidia, so can this be the problem? also the stuttering and crashing also happens just using chrome or some other light application.

It has always been this way, I have a EVGA NEX750G PSU
