The 760 is a good upgrade if you still don't have a GPU or if you have an old GPU. The 660ti would be a good option if you already have one, then SLI them.
its worth it if you have that much money to spare, yes. Also check out the 7970 which is close to 760 performance, or the 7970 ghz edition which is faster than both.

I haven't bought anything yet, I will be, but I guess going for a 760 to kick it off will be good, CPU wise, I am aiming for a FX 6300 or 6350, Cheap, high clock rate, and so on. If you suggest any other Cpus that are good in that price range, let me know! If i get a i5 my budget won't let me get 760, so after my research, my needs will be satisfied with the AMD one. Any opinions?
I don't OC myself, because IMHO it would vastly decrease the lifespan of you CPU when not cooled properly. And what gains would you really get...? About 4 to 5 fps...? It's negligible for me. But yea it would closely match the 6350.
