GPU: Radeon RX 6600 XT MECH 2X 8G OCV1
CPU: RYZEN 5 3600
Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4-F (AM4)
BIOS Version: P1.50
RAM: 16GB ADATA DDR4 (2x8) CL16
PSU: SEASONIC FOCUS Platinum 550W
Case: Fractal Design R4
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 10 64-bit
GPU Drivers: RADEON 22.4.2
Chipset Drivers: AMD 2.07.21306

Description of Original Problem: Just installed this card with a ASRock B450M Pro4-F motherboard (my previous GTX 1070 never had an issue) and with a Ryzen 3600 stock speeds , Windows 10 64-bit, 2x8GB DDR4 Adata 3000mhz.
I wasn't even playing a game but was just watching a TV stream. This is less than 2 hours into using this card. I used the DDU and removed the old Nvidia software, installed the card, logged on to Windows and was downloading the software but it seems that Windows 10 installed their own drivers but then I went ahead and installed the AMD drivers and the software and everything I downloaded which was amd-software-adrenalin-edition-22.4.2-win10-win11-april25
Has anyone had this recently?
Is it related to Windows 10 installing its own drivers first? I can run DDU again but I'm loathe to re-install Windows 10 as it's going to be a gigantic faff and I'm not in the mood for it at the moment.
I was thinking of running DDU again and then unplugging the LAN cable and just install the latest driver but with driver only.
Any suggestions/ideas?
Troubleshooting: nothing yet..

Thanks all in advance!

What version(not edition) of Windows 10 are you on? How old is the PSU in your build? You have a lot of BIOS updates pending update, gradually work your way to the latest version.

Is there a danger that the bios updates would render the CPU unusable? I remember something of the sort for some motherboards where the latest version would only work for the latest Ryzen or something like that..
PSU is brand new, Windows 10.0.19044 build 19044
