660ti for 160 or 670 for 300

I can get an evga 660ti used for $160 or a evga 670 ftw bnib for 300$. Which would you go for. The 660ti is the better deal obviously which makes ithard to pay tthatmuch more for little performance , what you guys think?

I have a 660ti,and I am happy with its performance, I can max nearly anythingI throw at it. However I play on a 20" widescreen @ 1440x900 res.
In a way, I wish I would have gotten a 670 because, price per performance, I think they are the best card available.

In your case, I would get the 660ti, and see if it satisfies you because it is such a good deal. If you would rather have a 670 after trying it, you will be able to get more than $160 for it on ebay!!! Probably closer to $240 used

It really depends on the resolution your using at what your throwing at it. the 670 is an amazing card and i have not seen anything slow me down yet.

I'm playing at 1080p and bf3 is probably the only game I play often, I play many different games when friends are wanting to too though

Also I already have a 2gb 6950 @ 975 core 1460 memory

with running BF3 on ultra you would get in the 40's fps with the 660ti and in the 70's with the 670. of course depending on the rest of your pc.

I get on avg about 50 fps on ultra with 2xmsaa with the y 6950. How well do the evga 660ti over clock?

Well I will be putting it on water and over clocked looks like the 660 ti is just a few frames behind and for $140 less looks like 660ti it is and if I'm not happy I can sell it for more just like the other guy said.

the 660ti overclocked should fulfill your need for BF3. if not ebay

I wouldn't risk buying a used card unless you know the person your buying it from and you know there is nothing wrong with it

He is aallowing me to test the card before I purchase, I wouldn't of considered it otherwise for $160 but he is being very helpful and allowing me to test so it sound pretty legit just going to bring a spare rig and monitor and run fur mark on it

Also my spare rig has a thermal take tr 450watt psu with only one six pin adapter should I not risk using that power supply to test it's pretty old but my other rig has a full water cooling loop so makes it hard
