666.5Mhz when supposed to have 1600Mhz?

Hi. I have these RAM sticks:

They are supposed to be 1600Mhz according to description.

But speccy shows that it only has 666.5Mhz:

If it's dual-channel... Shouldn't it be 800Mhz?

Many memory modules default to a lower speed to ensure systems boot.

You may need to enable XMP to have the board auto set the proper speed/timings. Alternatively you can just set them manually in the bios

Could not find anything in Bios containing 'XMP'.

Please check the OC section of the bios for manual memory timings. Make sure you follow the manufacturers rated speed, timings and voltage.

The board lists support for SMP, but manual should work fine.

Page 3-18 should have info in the English manual.

I just changed my DRAM freq. in bios to 800Mhz. Works as should now. Thx.
