667 vs 533 MHz DDR2?

One is faster, one is cheaper... which to buy? Looking over prices for 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, I see that the 667 MHz 2x1024 MB sets are about $100-$130 more expensive than the 533 MHz. Is it really worth the extra expense?

Depends. Get a good quality DDR2-533 1GB x2 and Overclock it to 667.

Overclocking is one of those things I prefer to leave to the professionals.

Is there a significant increase in performance? Or is it one of those things like increasing from 3.0 to 3.2 GHz, it costs an arm and a leg and you'll never notice?

OK... I was wrong, the price difference isn't only between 533 and 667 MHz RAM, it's within the 667-MHz speed.

What is the difference between this and this? The only specification I can see that's different is the voltage, 1.8V-2.0V for one and 1.9V-2.0V for the other. Is that 0.1V really such a huge difference that it's worth $76.00? And if so, what would my $76.00 buy?

there is no visible difference between 533 and 667. Voltages ratings dont matter if u dont overclock. i still would prefer 667. and lol did u say you would leave overclocking to professionals ... its so easy its not even funny! try it sometime.

The only difference is the range of required voltages for the chips.
