will a 6670 or 5770 run(be recognised) on a pciex16 gen 1.0 ...
should i bet my money on it..?
does someone have any personal experience running a 6670 or a 5770 on a pciex16 gen1.0
I have a decent psu... so pwer specification is not a concern ...
pls help..
graphic card description:
sapphire radeon 6670 1gb gddr5
or sapphire radeon 5770 1gb gddr5
(the main reason of concern is that I have read some posts where people said that some ati graphic cards have problem being recognised on a mobo with pcie x16 gen 1.0)

PC specs:
cpu: dual core e2180 2.0 ghz
mobo: foxconn irvine gl6e
ram: 2gb ddr2
psu: corsair cx 430v2
hdd: 320gb sata

Solution
As opaz1ka stated, you won´t get the full bandwith but is supposed to work, I had a hd 6850 in a pci-e 1.0 board once, and the card ran without problems.
