I have currently got a system that isn't the newest but definitely has some brutish force.

CPU - i5 2500k @ 4Ghz with Evo 212+ Cooler
GPU - 980ti Asus Strix - Gaming
PSU - 850w CX Corsair
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR 3
MOBO - ASRock Gen3 Mobo
Storage 1 - 500gb Samsung Evo SSD
Storage 2 - 1TB HDD
Case - Cooler Master Haf 912
OS - Windows 10 64bit

However I just bought

CPU - i7 6700k with Cooler Master Seidon 120V VER.2 76.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
GPU - 980ti Asus Strix - Gaming (Same as before)
PSU - 850w Evga GQ (No GS or G2 available sadly)
RAM - 1 stick of 8GB DDR 4 Crucial 2400mhz RAM (Will buy the other stick later)
MOBO - Asus Z170 PRO GAMING
Storage 1 - 500gb Samsung Evo SSD (Same as before)
Storage 2 - 2TB Seagate SSHD (Replaced old HDD)
Case - NZXT S340 Matte Black and Red
OS Windows 10

The entire upgrade cost me £670 to go from 2500k to what I have listed above.

This will be my second build. I will sell the old system with 2500k and an asus 760 and try get around £300-400 back. In which case it would have cost me £270-370 to make the upgrade.

Is this a worthwhile upgrade and are my parts good quality? I spend 4 hours trying to find a good PSU (One that may later offer SLi without OC'ing the GPUs)

Let me know what you think. I was on a budget (Kind of) (£600 was my goal.)

That is a fantastic upgrade. You probably will not see significant performance gains while gaming as you already had a nice system and decent OC. All your components are good quality.

However, since you asked, if only you had waited a little with the GPU and gotten a GTX1080ti once they launch it. Even a plain GTX1080 would have been a better buy.
