Question 6700xt No fan power and no output - x570 mb, 5800x CPU

Hi, I recently built a new PC. I got an MSI x570 A Pro from a friend. I then have a 5800x CPU and a 6700xt GPU.

All components (fans, AIO, RAM RGBs etc) are turning on. However the GPU's RGB and fans are not powering on and I get no display...

I have tried the 6700xt in another old PC build and I get fans etc spin up on it. I have also tried a 1660 super in the new PC build and that gets power (fans spin up etc) but provides no output.

Could this be caused by maybe the motherboard firmware being out of date for the 5000 series CPU? I would still expect the RGB's and fans to work on the GPU though.

I should probably also state that I have a 750w Gold fully modular Corsair PSU - the 6700xt requires an 8pin + a 6 pin. The 1660 required a 6 pin.
