Just put this together on Newegg for $671...

Rosewill Cruiser

GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Corsair TX750 psu

AMD 965

ATI 5770

4GB DDR3 1333

500GB hard drive

DVD Burner

Windows 7 Home Premium

Without spending any more more, can I build a better system for the same price or get the same parts for less?

Thanks,
Kurt

Microcenter has the board @ $5 cheaper, but looks like their blowing out their AMD Phenom II inventory.....far less options then just a few weeks ago. No 965's listed anymore over there.

So for simplicity, your best bet would be pick it the whole package from Newegg, if they have it all in stock.

Thats an AM3+ board? Retailers are suppose to have BullDozer available for sale next week on Oct 12.

Another thing to concider and be in the price range. If your going with on board graphic's with the potential of adding a gpu card later, why not take a good look at a FM1 MB and Processor? The new A8 Llano is in your price range, but now you will have todays tech cpu and MB....not 3/4/5 year old tech

I am using the AM3+ in order to upgrade to Bulldozer in a couple of years, the same reason I'm going with the TX750 power supply so I can upgrade to the AMD 6990 in a couple of years.

I am not running onboard video, I have the 5770 gpu in my description in the first post.
