I recently bough the ASrock Radeon 6750xt Challenger pro Oc for gaming and video editing 🥲.

I previously had the 1650 super and while editing short length 4k videos from premiere pro using h 264 codec in high 6.2 and VBR 1 pass selection it's was really doing a greater job.

As soon as i install my new GPU 6750xt and install it's resent adrenaline update and all, while editing using the same settings in the premiere pro it's showing "you hardware isn't compatible with the settings...".

The hardware acceleration is turn on in the preference and media option as well. Now please don't tell me I can't render my videos using a AMD card 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲.

Change CUDA for OpenCL in the settings and it will work.

About 5-10% the effects/edition tools are not available in OpenCL (the newer, the less chance it is supported), you will need to edit out and workaround in that case, or wait for updates to support it. There is also a performance lose with about 20% of effects/tools where things will go really slow or clunky/unstable. Outside that it largely works the same or at times better with memory intensive tasks.

I didn't have to change it to opencl manually, as soon as i installed AMD gpu it switched to that automatically. And like i said, hardware acceleration is on already.

I kind of fixed this issue, i recorded my gameplay at 3840 but i was trying to upscale it to 4096, maybe that's whyy card didn't support hardware encode. As soon as i changed the export resolution to 3840 it was ok with hw encoding but encoding level must be at 5.2.
