when will nvidia release a new chipset to suceed the 680i?
i already have a 8800gts640, 4gb1066 ram, 750w psu, case, hsf, etc.

all that is left is my pricecut q6600, and a mobo to tie it all together.

as far as i am concerned, the p35s do not support dual pcie x16 like the 680i mobos.

i do plan to oc and add another 8800gts when g90s come out (so they will be low in price...hopefully ati will release contenders to drive price down as well)

will 680i be outdated soon by another nvidia chipset or am i good to go?

Have you also notice that on most of the new mobo's they took away Dual Lan and added back the old style Com and LPT ports. How many still have use for those in this day and age.

What I would like to see is more Usb and eSata connection out of the back of mobo.

Most likely I will build another computer using the 680i, before upgrading my current mobo to one of the new one that will be coming out using the PCIe ver. 2.0 slots. Since I have Amd and Intel systems now anyway, whats 1 more.
