Hello currently im upgrading my gpu for the upcoming BF4 Mainly, and would like the gpu's too last for atleast a good 2 years of gaming

Im Currently looking at a 680SLI or 780

I read some of the cons of sli , drivers issues, chance of micostuttering etc, but SLi and 780 will cost me the same price, but sli 25-40% more performance?

GTX 680 x2 = 540£ http://

GTX 780x1 = £540 http://

Currently i got :

FX8350 4.8ghz
16gb 1600 Corsair Ram
asus M5a99x evo mobo
amd 7870
Corsair AX 750 Gold psu
Corsair 300R case
+ H80
2x Asus 24'' 1920/1080 Monitors

In terms of performance i guess its a no brainer, but i would like peoples opinions on how much SLi issues are , or is it not as bad as people say it is ? im not interested in amd, it would be a 680SLi or 780 only.

thanks in advance

780. More than enough performance for now. WHen it isn't strong enough sli it, or buy a new card. the 2gb vram on the 680's will limit you, as will the far more limited upgrade paths. WHile sli is far better than crossfire, there could be issues with games not supporting it, leaving you with one useable 680.

780 perform almost as fast as titan. Personally i would go for 2 680 but if you don't like multi gpu setup a single 780 already a beast

780 is overpriced i would actually go with a single 680 for now alot better bang for your buck then a 780.Add a 2nd 680 and it blows a titan and 780 out of the water.Unless you plan to go to 3 monitor setup the 2gb vram is more then enough and there isnt any difference between 2 and 4 gb of ram up to 2500x1600 res
