6850 temps with higher resolution.

I have a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908, I have been using a smaller monitor running games at about 1440x900 and the temps have been around 48-53c, I recently started using my 32" tv and I started running games at 1920x1080 the temps started going to 61c-65c, is this a bad jump?

That's not bad. My 6850 is around 60c when playing dirt3, and it has no problems. When you start getting above 80c, then I would start to worry.

your ask more power for the card so temp raise ,check to stay below the 80 c on load and you will be safe,what is the name and model of your case maybe you could had more fan or some wih more cfm output to reduce the inside air temp .

The higher resolution means higher GPU processing demand, so the video card is now working harder than when it was on 1440x900.

I would say the temps are okay, this is on medium load or something?

it's normal...my 6850 reaches up to 85 sometimes

This is on Medium load yes, because I'm only playing games like WoW but when I play games like BF3 I would always play in high but now with this res I get a little bit of frame lag and the card kinda gets a little hot.

I have a Cooler Master HAF, it has plenty of fans and nice air flow, but I was thinking about getting Liquid cooling anyways to maybe help it out or just get a new card in general, but I really don't want to dish out more money to buy a card, when mine will do just fine.
