Do you think the 6850 is still going to be a solid card may of next year? I got moved into foster care and can't get out until i'm 18. (which is in may). So i was wondering if it could still play games 1080p at medium or high settings.
I will also upgrade my Mobo so i can do crossfire.

the 6850 will do you just fine for a while, granted you arent a stickler for maxing out games@ 1080p. dont xfire the 6850; microstutter like a mofo

Thanks, i just want to get a steady 30-40 fps and not look like crap.

you should be fine with the 6850 then. make sure your power supply can handle it though
