I'm considering getting a second 6850 and I was wondering if crossfire would be an option with my current set up.
I have an Antec HCG-620w , an Asus P8P67 Rev3.1, and a i5-2500k @4.0ghz, and 8GB's of 1600mhz Ram and my resolution is 1080p. Ive only got 1 hard drive, and one optical drive, just in case that would factor in.
According to the Asus Webite, my mobo can do up to 4 GPU's in crossfire. Also, my PSU has two 6+2 pin PCI-E power connectors, and I know that 6850's only require 1 6pin connector each.
So, I think I should be fine should I decide to get another 6850, but I'm wondering if their is anything I've missed. Would my psu provide enough wattage for an extra card, factoring in the CPU overclock?
