6870 or gtx 560?

i need a graphics upgrade and i'm just wondering which card is the best standard gtx 560 or 6870?

I gotta say the 560 non ti has a lot of headroom to overclock putting it beyond the 6870 an overclocked 460 @850mhz really is a better match for the 6870 put the 560 at 1050 and lookout but ive seen stock OC clocks of up to 970mhz on a 560 really pushing past the 6870 but if you can get the 6870 about 20 dollars cheaper then hey thats the card to take

The 6870 is overall a little bit faster than the 560.

Or just buy 2 x 6990 in crossfire......game better still, and be even happier.

They do perform similarly, so it's really what you like more, or which card's features are more to your liking.

I say get the 6870. If you're going to be overclocking though you may get more out of the 560, or not.
