Howdy Partners,

Again I'm hopeless when it comes to Gpu's so please enlighten me...

I have slabbed together a new unit for my brother, nothing flash..

Amd Phenom 2 1100T (Thuban 6c)
8Gb Kingston HyperX Ram
750W Psu - Antec.

And the rest are basics. Someone had recommended a 6950 tho..

He wants to know what Gpu he will need to run WoW @ 60 Fps on ultra Graphics..?

Should this be Sli'd ect..?

I hope we have some wow'rs on this fourm, because I have no idea what "ultra" requires resource wise for this game.

It all depends on your resolution of the screen. Really 1600 x 900 should. The 6950 is powerful. Considering if its CFed (SLI'd) It would get more than 60 FPS easy at almost any resolution. It should do fine at 1920 x 1080 anyway. If anything it shouldn't drop less than 40 FPS at that resolution.

Yea its a 1920x1080 setup.

This would be a 2Gb card btw

Any other recommendations would be appreciated...
