6950 power connectors confuse me

I got an 990FX sabertooth and it is giving 3 quick beeps which means no VGA detected.

Now, I'm kinda confused on how to hook up the power.

It came with one of those cables but I still don't understand.

Please help me, just talk to me like an idiot, i've been up for two days : /

I got a 6 pin adapter with 2 pins hanging seperate, do I put all in so its 8 pins? plus another 4 pins?

im just getting one beep now. Still no bios or anything.

In the manual it says for 1 beep:

VGA detected
Quick boot set to disabled
No keyboard detected

But I dont know how that is useful.

Are all the pcie cables plugged correctly?

omg hours wasted.

I took a long look at my dvi to vga connector, and one of the pins was messed up. I had to use the stupid thing because my monitor didnt get shipped yet and had to borrow someone elses. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Lessons learned I guess.
