I am thinking of A gpu upgrade my current specs are
2500k
6950 unlocked to 6970
8gb ddr 3 1333
windows 7
I play games all the time currently on COH2 and dayZ would a 770gtx be a good upgrade or 7970? or wait for the new batch the 770 only has 2gb ram but the benchmarks say it rocks if i was going for a 770 which one?

Solution
Go for the 770 but if your on budget the 7970 is a very nice card, nearly same performance if you get the ghz edition but couple of hundred bucks cheaper.

I got a 7950 Clocked beyond a 7970 and gtx 680...and that one is even 100 more cheaper.

If you love multi-screen go AMD, a crossfire 7950 would be beast = 6gb total Ram and huge bandwith, tottaly nice for multi -screen.

I am expecting curved monitors in 1-2 years.
