I have 6GB of ram: 2x2GB 1333 Mhz and 2x1GB 1333 Mhz from Samsung exactly same speed, same model, same everything, except capacity of course..
It detects 6GB on computer properties But 2,99 Usable, the rest is Hardware Reserved.
My OS is Windows 7 64bit (yes 64 bit).
i5 750 2.66 gHz.
I already checked Msconfig for memory limit, its unchecked.
Already updated my Bios.
Took them all out swapped places, and if I only put the 2x2GB ram's the PC will detect 4GB but only 1,99 will be usable, the rest is Hardware Reserved.
I cleaned the pins with alcohol.
I seated them properly over and over.
I ran Memtest86+, not very sure how it works but it tested them for 1:10H and 0 erros were detected.

I really need help guys!
I don't know what to do with it anymore!
Thanks for any help in advance!

Solution
My guess is that it's a CPU socket bent pin issue. Try removing the CPU and inspecting the socket (try posting a picture of the socket here). See if any bent pin.
1 long 2 short beeps - memory not recognized.
do you happen to have a board with chipset graphics, or even a shitty graphics card without dedicated memory? in this case it would be possible for the graphics to reserve part, maybe half, of your RAM, which would explain the difference in installed RAM vs usable RAM.

if it's a chipset graphics you should be able to change how much is reserved for it in BIOS, if it is a low end graphics card without dedicated VRAM there might be some options accessible via the graphics driver/managing software.

That is exactly what I remembered even before posting this, but what do I have to configure? Only the date and hour right?
Thanks.

I accidentaly selected your answer as solution, the admin is going to fix it (i think).
I see that in Computer » Properties.
And task manager and BIOS.

No its not it's a GT220, VRAM 1GB.
Anyways to clear that out, tomorrow i will receive a HD 6850, that i bought, so... But, hey, thanks anyway!

What is going on.. I am accidentaly selecting answers as best answers... Sory bout that.
I unplugged everything, took out the battery for 2 minutes.
2x2 detects 4GB but only 1.99 Usable.
2x2 + 2x1 detects 6GB 2.99 Usable
🙁

I tested the 2 GB ram on the last slot, the one farthest from the CPU and it worked, it showed me 2GB usable with no problem. When i connnected to the other slots it didnt boot just a constant beep.

IMPORTANT: Now i am getting 1 long beep and 2 short beeps, i believe it is the GPU, im getting a new one tomorrow, my fear is that the problem is not about the GPU and the mobo, and i REALLY don't want to buy anything else, i got a new PSU, new CPU, new fans, and new GPU coming tomorrow, and I have no more money to spend....

Thanks in advance for all support!

Humm ok then, thanks, they just look so fragile...
