6gb or 12gb

I currently have a i7 build with 6gb of OCZ Gold DDR3 PC3-12800C8 (1600MHz). I have the opportunity to buy another 6gb for £100, is it actually worth me buying the extra memory or should i keep my money and save for new graphics card!

I use my system for gaming and just general use so is it worth getting the another 6gb?

My system:

Windows 7 64bit

ASUS P6T SE iX58

Intel Core i7 920 D0

OCZ 6gb DDR3 1600MHz

EVGA GTX260 SC Superclocked Edition

My vote goes for SAVE YOUR MONEY AND CHANGE THE GPU. Maybe you can buy the 12GB, but, maybe you never use the 12GB.

Save your money and buy a HD 5870 or 5890, how i said up, maybe you never use the 12GB of your rig. The 12GB or more are for Servers.

+1. You won't need 12 GB for a long, long, long time.

Get rid of that nVidia card. ATI is killing them with the new 5xxx...

Yeah I think i'll go for the graphics card! A 12GB system just seemed really tempting but a 5870 seems more so! and like you've all said theres no point in having 12GB.
