hello people,
i'm new on this board, hope i've opened the thread in correct category

so, my problem is that i cant find proper 36Pin (SFF-8087) M to SAS 29Pin F (SFF-8482) cable that really supports 6GB/s per line.

Motherboard: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/QPI/5500/X8DT3-LN4F.cfm (Onboard SAS supports 3 GB, but gonna buy pci-e 6GB sas controller)

HDD : http://www.ebay.com/itm/170854653487?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_1282

p.s no hot-swap

thanks,
malkhaz

The power connector are the same, you can use ANY SATA power connector from power supply, you can even use the Molex to SATA adapter to power the drive...

Use the cable to connect to the HDD for SAS/SATA bus
