6Gb standard SATA drive

Is it ok to be running a 6Gb standard SATA Hard drive on a board with 3Gb standard?? My first time building with SATA drives.

Sure, you won't see any speed degradation on a standard HDD.

Yea you should be fine, I did that with my Last Motherboard and didn't have any problems
