6pin psu to 8 pin gpu question

hello guys I need your help with psu and gpu compatibility.
im trying to built rig with asus Strix Gaming GTX 1060 O6GB but the card requires 8 pin connector and works at 120w

the power supply I found is LC Power Platinum Series LC1000 V2.4 1000W which has 6 slots for PCIe but with 6 pins.

psu is coming with with cables that have 6 pin on one side and 6+2 pin on the other side

so my question is will my cards work normally if I plug 6 pin to psu and 6+2 pin to gpu(the same cable) or can I expect any downgrades in work?

Aside from this PSU quality, and the question what you need 1000 W unit for, the answer is: yes, it will work without any downgrade.
