I have a seasonic ss 650 jt psu and it only has dual 6 pin connectors would and 6 pin to 8 pin adapter be okay or safe? I want to power an rx 570. Thanks

This is one of the rare instances in which I'd be willing to use a dual six-pin to eight-pin adapter.

I don't believe so. If it fails, it's likely to just need to be replaced, it's not likely to take out anything with it. Nothing's a guarantee, but the SeaSonic OEMs we used to see -- not so often these days -- tended to be competent.
