Is only your opinion, i am thinking to enter in the skylake generation but i see the problem of bent and i don't thing the motherboard for skylake will be compatible with the 7th generation of intel that's the only thing good i see.
What is your opinion? 6th generation motherboards will be compatible with 7th generation.

Solution
Skylake is overpriced right now; you're probably better off going with Haswell Refresh/Devil's Canyon.

I expect you'll be able to put both Kaby Lake and Cannonlake into the current x170 boards, but you'd need a BIOS update and I doubt there'd be much performance gain to be had from the upgrade.

The bent CPUs thing is overblown; most likely people were over-tightening their coolers.

Yeah Skylake is very overpriced right now, not worth it. If I were you I'd rather upgrade graphics card or ram.
But personally I think it would've been stupid if Intel didn't make it that way...
If you look at it 2nd and 3rd gen have the same socket but then again, 4th and 5th differ...Time to play the old waiting game eh?
[please do correct me if I'm wrong]

Haha yeah, but then to answer his question I definitely think 6th and 7th gen would be the same.
