well, i'm build a gaming pc, and i've been looking for some 7.1 heaphones, i have a buget around 150, though i'm willing to pay a bit more. the heaphones sould be good with distance and music, Thanks for the help
20 bucks over but worth it. Like I said you can go through the audiophilies website and look at there gaming thread. it'll have the break down of almost every gaming headphones/sets there are.
Check out the AD700 or AD700x. Best gaming headphones sub 300 bucks. Awesome positional audio, bass on the 700 isn't the best but i heard that the 700x makes up for it.
Honestly I can't hear crap when i'm gaming with those on. I could have someone standing next to me talking and I wouldn't be able to hear a thing. You can check out some sennheiser 320's or siberia v2's but none of those really compare to the AD700 or AD700X. I've owned headphones ranging from 50-300 and the AD series is above and beyond those by far.
i was thinking about the g35, but whats your suggestion
i'm kinda afraid that the Ad700x might leak sound, i don't want people to listen to what i'm hearing, if you know what i mean *smug face*
lol hell no. I had them and they're trash compared to the AD700's. Honestly they're just an overpriced pair of regular headphones.
Check out audiophiles in there headphone gaming section. it'll show that the AD700 are on a different level than those and most others. The AD700X are just amazing as well.
what about the razer tiamat 7.1? i'm building a pc on a 1500 budet and i only have around 150 to 200 i can grind out, and i see that the ad700 has no mic, and it's some what over buget.
Razer is only good for there mice lol.. Other than that it's all overpriced for what you get. As for the AD700 being over budget are you not from the U.S? The AD700X is 170 and a mic would be 20? That's the set up that I use. Other than that they're all about the same man. All of them have gimicks and just don't work that great to be honest.
