I have a Lenovo Y700 laptop with:
I7 6700HQ
GTX 960m w/4GB GDDR5
16GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10
and from time to time when I open it up and wake it from sleep mode, I have 7 black bars on my screen. They take priority and overlay anything that's open. I've found that simply logging out of my account will solve the problem. I've also noticed that when I hover my mouse over them, I can see my cursor over the bars rather than behind (like it does with anything else). The last thing I've noticed about them is that when I right click them anywhere, there's no menu that comes up which makes me think it's some kind of program that went all haywire when I put my laptop to sleep. I'm pretty stumped at this point, mostly because I can't even find unsolved reports of this problem anywhere. Here's a screenshot of my desktop, the black bars are just a little bit to the right and down from the center of the screen.
