70%+ memory usage when idle

Hello,
When idle/browsing the web, my memory usage is extremely high

Because I can't see you using more than 2 gigs of RAM. Either a memory leak or malware would be my suspicion.

I definitely have 8gbs installed, I'll watch that and report back.

Just did that and no difference, any other solutions?

Did you also restart computer?

Check all the tabs in Task manager. We have established that it can't be your running programs eating all that so it could be a system service or malware.
Malwarebytes would be my next step after that

I restarted an I am now running at 33% now. Thank you so much for your help.

The difference in RAM % usage does not match what were seeing from your task manager.
As mamanson suggested it could be malware.

The malware will take some time to "spin up". Check again after some time to see if it has changed again
