I’m doing a 770$ pc, with a 3600 and 1660 super. My budget is 70 for the psu. What’s the best one? And should my budget be higher for psu and why
I would love to get that psu but I’m not sure if I have the budget. This is my list right now:it should be higher. the PSU feeds and protects the rest of the system. prices have increased lately due to ahem, issues left un-named.
the CX series went from affordable to $100. the CX is my go to budget starting point

The b450-f may not come updated with the correct bios version to support the 3600.This is my list right now:

Yes I know I’m just a bit lazy.Hi everyone.
The dollar sign goes BEFORE the number, by the way.
Thank you. I’m sticking with the 1660 super though, so what should I do then?I have that unit in a 600W, but it was $25 less than the current 500W when I got it.
I have another compromise you may want to consider. the performance difference between the 1650S and the 1660S is not reflective in the massive price difference (under 20% for 80 dollars).
for the gist, the general idea

you already have parts so I played with the remaining and came up with this.

this PSU has a 10 year warranty and is of very high quality and is more proven than the EVGA GD series from 2019. the SSD size has increased by 8x, a HDD can be added later or a larger drive but 960GB should be fine for a while and much better than the 120GB.
The one I have doesThe b450-f may not come updated with the correct bios version to support the 3600.
The phanteks amp is better. The cx link was in stock when I posted, lol, rip.But what about CX vs Phanteks?
Yes, it is like seasonic focus plus, maybe a gx-550.yea the statistics are better. im just a little skeptical about Phanteks PSU. Is is a Seasonic Focus unit as I have been reading?
Ok thanks. I like the AMP but I might have to go with the CX as I can’t find the AMpYes, it is like seasonic focus plus, maybe a gx-550.
So the regular CX650 is on sale for $70! Should I get this?Yes, it is like seasonic focus plus, maybe a gx-550.
