$700 FX-8530 build

NCIX/Amazon because New Egg charges me NJ tax, or New Egg if it's still cheaper from them. I'm buying the day after tomorrow, hopefully that doesn't effect special offers.
I'll get an aftermarket cooler later. I don't need 32GB RAM.

1) cheapest case
2) FX-8350
3) OC'able mobo with no wireless anything, fits 16GB RAM
4) quality PSU
5) small SSD for OS and programs (not many). I have HDD storage already
6) cheapest DVD ROM
7) 8/16GB RAM
8) Windows 7 Premium 64-bit
9) at least an Intel HD4000-level temp GPU

FX-8350 will have integrated graphics that blow the hd4000 away. No need for a dedicated card if you want something that level. An antec 300 is a decent case and a 60(it will be tight storage space) or a 120gb (way more breathing room) SSD from brands such as intel or samsung. Lite-On make really cheap Optical drives. an AM3+ mobo such as the Extreme4. XFX/seasonic make really good psu's any from them will be great. just look for the 80+ rating.

what do you plan on doing with the computer? Also kingston is a relatively good brand too. Intel and samsung ssd's are expensive per gb


If you don't plan on adding a high end graphics card this corsair cx430 will do nicely. Its on sale right now.

for the gpu any current gen dedicated graphics card will be better than the intel hd4000

some amd+ mobos have a GPU though but the HD4000 is much better. Also, I'm told the OS needs 20GB free space to run smoothly.
