I made a NASBox running Windows Server 2012 R2 then configured all my storage into 4 15TB iSCSI disks because windows would not allow me to make an iSCSI disk larger than 16TB. to overcome this size limitation I formatted the drives into one "striped" partition on the target computer. I'm wondering if there are any pitfalls or drawbacks to running them in this manner? Also, on the server-side, the partition which holds the 4 iSCSI disks is comprised of 15 6TB drives in a (hardware) RAID5.

it's not too late. since this is my first time working with hardware RAID I wanted to clear up a few of the finer details before i put the system into production. That said besides favoring RAID6 is there anything else i should consider?
