710t or 172x

I am in the market for a 17" LCD and the Samsung 710t and the 172x have caught my eye. My computer is used for a lot of gaming: doom3, BF1942, MOH, etc. Has anyone had any problems with these monitors? Does any one have any suggestions as to which one is better, or if there is a better brand and model to get? Thanks for any help.

I came across the specs for the BenQ FP791 today and I am quite impressed with it. Does anyone have any input on how this stands up the the 2 samsung monitors I am looking at? Thanks again<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by Robc1880 on 08/04/04 05:35 PM.</EM></FONT></P>

As far as a side by side comparison of the two, I'm not sure. But I've been quite happy with my 710T since I got it a while back. And UT2004 looks incredible with it.
