Hi , I just wantedd to buy new laptop which is Xiaomi notebook 13.3 , But I'm little confused either to buy the i5(7200U) or i7 (7500U) configuration and the price difference is about 200$ with all same other specs ( same SSd ,8 DDR4 Rams , Geforce MX150 GPU Chip ) , Does it really worth ?
I mean what is the actual performance difference will I get ?
Thank you

both cpus are u versions

that means they are ultralow voltage cpus and they have limmited speed and performance

the differentce between a i5 and a i7 here is weird

this is the i5

https://ark.intel.com/products/95443/Intel-Core-i5-7200U-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz

this is the i7

https://ark.intel.com/products/95451/Intel-Core-i7-7500U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_50-GHz-

the main difference is the 2 cores speed, both cpus are two cores and 4 threads

the i7 you mention is faster, 200 mhz faster

also the igpu in it should run abit faster, perhaps is just the same

the other difference it has is that some i7 are set, no idea how, to use less watts than the i5, but this affects performance so both cpus could end working...

if the cost difference is not that big, i would go for the i7, remember that any u cpu will be not a powerful cpu, will be a battery saving cpu, so any extra mhz should help abit
