I really love intel, I really do. But the 7260AC, at least in my case made me HATE them so much!!!

If you reader here for buying an AC card buy the one above.

itlogicsystems, I will try to do what you suggested on another laptop I have a lenovo U550. It might be that my laptop dont like the 7260AC, and then I report back again.

I trully believe this post should be highlighted so people wont buy this crappy 7260AC card, beside the N problem it also have bluetooth issues, like 0.5 meter from the...

Still cant connect to N 2.4G network on the router.
Can successfully connect to the LG g2 AP as before

Will other devices connect to the AC87U on the 2.4 GHz radio? I'm wondering if the 2.4 GHz radio is broken.

Other than that, try to simplify - go to the most baseline configuration on the 2.4 radio as you can:
- no special characters in the SSID, no spaces before or after, etc.
- don't hide the SSID
- 20 MHz channels
- open authentication / no encryption (just as a test, not permanently)
- no MAC filtering
- b/g mode
- make sure the router is configured as an AP, not a Bridge or AP/Bridge
- make sure the radio is enabled and no schedule is set
- Multicast/Broadcast/Beacon rate to 1 Mbps (not permanently, just for the test)
- long preamble
- Beacon interval to 100 (less should be OK, more may perform better, but 100 for the test)
- disable multi-media power save
- power to mid-scale value (assuming you are close to the router) or wide-open

That is about as vanilla as you can make an AP, if it works you can start changing things and see where it breaks.

Damn just finished torturing myself and returned to my "Inferior" 2.4Ghz Wifi card.
ITS SO FAST!!!

I will try what you suggest maybe tommorow, when I have the inner power to tinker with it again..

It took me another 5 minutes to find bluetooth driver.

Thats it. working AC wifi +bluetooth that work outside my room "Thank you"... in no time.

So the fault probably the 7260AC, But I will do the alst test and its connecting the 7260 to another laptop.

Thank you for your time writing reply
