the normal temp at start is 66 c and when i overclocke it to the perfrmance i needed it was 82 c is tah temp safe if not temme how to reach a moderate and also is the temp at start common with others
Overclocking a 7300gt isn't gonna give you much anyways. Maybe make Call of Duty 2 slightly acceptable. A fan or two can't hurt but I wouldn't waste time and cash on an after market cooler for that thing...

Oops! Yeah, I agree. I didn't realise what card it was! haha
I had 7300gt from inno3d ddr 2 version it used to idle at 40 till 50 depending on the room temps after putting the core on 550 mhz and the ram at 430 (860 effective) but my tower had a good cooling system also my card had a fan not those passive cooled ones.
An overclocked 7300gt was extremely fast for the price special the ddr3 ones that can reach the speeds of the 7600gt thats also based on the G73 core infact the 8400gs is suppose to replace the 7300 series but the 7300gt ddr3 out performs even the 8500 gt. The point is the 7300gt overclocked is a good card for playing old games but new ones you have to play at low quality and low resolution.
