7400 or 7600?

Hello!

I'm kind of caught between which CPU I want for my build. I'm pretty much just doing gaming and maybe a tiny bit of streaming on the side but not very much. Should I go for the fairly cheap i5-7400, the more expensive 7600 or right in the middle with the 7500? Again I'm basically only using the rig for gaming so I'm not sure which one to go with

Kaby Lake is a dead upgrade path at this point. 4 core, 4 thread CPUs are becoming more obsolete each year in the gaming world.

I'd go with an i5-8400.

If you are going Intel don't even bother with 7th generation unless you're upgrading an existing box. Either go for i5 8400 or an AMD ryzen.
