75 hz not possible on new pc and same monitor

Hi, so I had built new Pc (ryzen 1600, gtx 1060 6gb,16gb ram) and im using 60 hz monitor which is overclockable to 75, untill today i have played on 75 hz which was plausible on every resolution( ati 5770 vapor x) , and now as i got win7 up connected my DVI( used to be connected via vga but not possible due to Pascal) ,and after i overclock monitor on certain resolution ex. 1440x900 on 75 hz it does change but when i join game under refresh rate there is no option to up it on 75 (it was always possible on old pc ) so i hope someone knows answer cause it does bother me alot hah 😀

Do you have the option to use a displayport cable? It seems likely that the cable is the issue.

i have active DVI to a display port calbe adapter, is that going to work ?

when i tried to se DVI (F) and display port (M) it didnt even show picture, althought my display port on monitor could be broken ...

Hi , why wont my game recognize 75 hz i used monitor before and always played a game on 75hz(CoD2) , but since i bought new pc after i set up 75 in nvdidia CP and on desktop it still doesent offfer me option to pick 75hz ingame. im connected via active adapter display port > DVI ..
