Question 750$ FOR 6950XT is it worth it ?

Hello

There was recently a sale in my country for 6950XT (AMD refernece model to be specific) it came at 3250 PLN ~ which comes out at around 750$ .
Now pricing in Poland or EU in general is fairly high do to our governments wanting to bleed us dry
The other cards in similar tier come with such pricetags here(cheapest models):

• 7900XT (910$)
• 4070TI (940 $)

Now what i would like to know. Do you think (having in mind the current prices listed above) the 6950XT for 750$ is a good deal or maybe wait for lower tier of new GPU? I would like to point that i'm unwilling to pay extra 200$ for 4070ti. 750 is already pushing it to be honest for just a GPU.

Well, let's see what the numbers say. According to the prices that you posted:

The RX 7900 XT is 21% more expensive than the RX 6950 XT.
The RTX 4070 Ti is 25% more expensive than the RX 6950 XT.

Meanwhile, according to the TechPowerUp GPU Database:

The 4070 Ti is 4% faster than the RX 6950 XT but has 25% less VRAM.
The 7900 XT is 14% faster than the RX 6950 XT and has 25% more VRAM.

I would say that compared to the RTX 4070 Ti, it's a fantastic deal because the RTX 4070 Ti is underpowered, overpriced and short on VRAM. It's not as good of a deal compared to the RX 7900 XT because it's faster than the RTX 4070 Ti and has 20GB of VRAM instead of 12 but $910 is way too high of a price.

If I were you, I would happily grab the RX 6950 XT and not think twice.

Yes this is completely new product from a solid shop with great return policies etc.
