750 ti suddenly losing performance

So I just got my 750 ti and it was going great, I was playing BF4 at like 50 fps on high and yesterday I was told to download the new drivers by the nvidia program. After downloading, the card seem to sometimes poop out. For instance, I played BF4 today and sometimes I would get about 45 fps and then it would suddenly drop to 25 fps and eventually even in the teens. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it. Also, can i revert back to the old drivers for now. I think these ones are not ready for use.

Yes, try the old driver again to see if it is that or something else. Just uninstall the current driver and install the previous one then. But I would first make sure the system isn't full of resource-wasting crap and registry errors that can be dragging down performance. Run CCleaner and do the Clean and Registry portions both. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
