750 ti vs Gt 720

I have the Gt 720 right now and is it worth upgrading to the 750 ti. I live in a small island where everything is expensive so the 750 ti is my only option. But is it good for 720p gaming with modern games?

Yes. It is a GTX model, plus has the power of a Ti card. I wouldn't recommend it for high settings. But low-end is pretty good. You will really notice the difference.

You would be looking at around at least a 200-250% increase in graphics performance, depending on the exact GT720.

The 750ti is an excellent lost cost choice. It will handle 1080p just fine, 720p even better.

GT, GTX and Ti are just marketing terms. Mid-range gaming at release tends to start at the GTX series, but you still have to have another model for comparison for it to mean anything. Because even that GT720 is decently powerful compared to say an old 8800 GT which was only trumped by the 8800 GTX and GX2 cards.
