Okay, I currently have a Geforce2 64mb MX that came with my comp, and I am looking to upgrade. After visiting my local Best Buy, I have found I have 3 options. All of the following are 149$
1. ATi Raedon 7500
2. Xtasy Geforce2 Ti
3. Xtasy Geforce 3 Ti200 (Technically 199$ but has a 50$ rebate until the 28th)

So, which one do you think would be better? Or do you think I should just wait until the Geforce4 Ti's come out and the prices drop? If so, how much do you think they'll drop?

If it is relevent, here is my rig:
P4 1.7GHz
512mb SDRam
Creative SB PCI512
Geforce2 64mb MX
I will be running a very graphics intensive 3D game, again if it is relevent.

I agree with the Ti200. For the last couple of months, it's been the clear price/performance king.

Here's the thing about *most* computer hardware. The price is always going to drop (unless you are already at the 'value' price segment) and the next best technology is around the corner. The question as to if you should wait is more a question on how long can you stand your current card and how important it is to you to have 'the latest and greatest' technology.

Of the cards listed, go for the GF3 Ti200. Not only is it the the best performer, it also supports DX8 (which is the next 'level' of 3D technology) so it may last you a little longer between upgrades.

Yeah, it's no competition, the GF3 Ti200 wins out of those three. What seems weird is that the GF2Ti and the R7500 are overpriced.

yes, that means the hardware is designed to speed up the new features of DX8.
