I know that if i reformat the drive i can get it to work but i have bunch of family videos and files on here that i CAN NOT lose. I even called WD for support and they said "Unfortunately you will have to attach it to a Windows computer and drag and drop all the files; then reformat and put the files back!"
I don't have a windows and dragging 750gb of files will take HOURS if not the entire day. What i want to know is what is the best solution to keep all my files on here and being able to READ and WRITE files
