So i'm planning to buy a gtx 750ti will and i'm not sure if my motherboard will work on it's an INTEL H57 Mobo and the gpu im replacing is the gt 320 my cpu right now is i5-650 will this work?

this topic is not about H57 but Q series, but its almost the same ( same bridge should have very similar limits)
So I was looking at my motherboard's specs it has 1x,2x,4x pcie configurations and when i look it the mobo from your link it has x16 is this a big difference on gpu compatibility?
Theres other gpus, but they would require a PSU with pci-e power connectors.
If this means getting a new psu i'd be down doing it

would this be ok? i could probably get a gtx 970 and just start upgrading my parts from there not all at once though would my cpu bottleneck my the 970?
