I've got a 750w power supply from my old build and want to know if it will be enough to run a gtx 980 ti plus my build in the bottom right.
I usually tell people to aim for the 50% to 60% range ideally (PSU fan noise, stress on PSU etc).

No-one's mentioning makes or models.
I was hoping to hear from the OP plus anyone else saying they are running a 750W PSU who has posted in this thread.
eg"Thats PLENTY of powerI have two gtx 770's running on a 750 watt PSU..."
"yeah thats what im running mine on. 750 is absolutely enough. Refer to my bottom right." - has got a XFX Pro 750W Black Edition - which is great
I have just never understood the necessity to insist that the manufacturers recommended watts are wrong (always).
And seeing as you already have there is no point to spending more on a different one. Use it, you'll be fine.

They are "wrong" because they are only covering themselves. Look at any 280X on Newegg. The PSU requirements when they are listed is always 750W. For a 250W TDP GPU? Why on earth would that be the case? I'm running a 280 on a 450W PSU, and any QUALITY 500-550W can handle the 280X. Manufacturers always list way more PSU then really needed to make up for the junk PSUs that people buy. Some people see a "750W" for $20 and think they are getting a great deal. I won't even let those PSUs into my house, let alone my computer case. (I'm serious, I don't let junk PSUs get plugged into my place.)
