76-77c maximum temp is considered safe for 1080 ti?

Hello,

I have a Zotac Amp Extreme 1080 Ti with 72 core clock and 316 memory clock applied. I get normal temperatures of 68c on most games (BF1, GTA V, etc..) but I noticed that some game titles like Far Cry Primal and Mad Max cause my gpu to run at 76-77c on maximum conditions and about 73-75 while roaming through the wasteland.

Mad Max and Far Cry Primal have good engines that utilize 99% of my gpu all the time, hence the high temperatues.

Are those temperatures okay for my gpu if i want to play for like 4 hours straight?

Yes those are completely safe, I would only start to worry if your exceeding 90C.

No, they all have the same temp threshold, many ppl (myself including) prefer the aftermarket editions with dual fans or a AIO built into it. You could create a custom fan curve to keep temps down a bit better however it'll probably run much louder.
