760 to 1060?

So I was thinking about upgrading from a gtx 760 to a gtx 1060. Is this a good upgrade? How much of a difference would it make? Is it worth it?
System Specs: i5 7600, mobo- B250M-DS3H, 8gb ddr4 ballisitx, 500w EVGA psu

well its a HUGE upgrade. 1060 performance is between 970 and 980.

That will make a huge difference in frame rates and graphical detail. Get the 1060 if you can.

As above, there is a huge difference between them, you'll easily get twice the frame rate. If possible look for the 6GB model....but if you must, even the 3GB would make a good upgrade.

As for your PSU, with an i5 7600 and a GTX 1060, any model EVGA 500w PSU is more than enough, you don't have anything to worry about there.

His PSU doesn't matter if he can already run the GTX760. The GTX1060 uses 30-40 watts less than the GTX760 and usually needs 1 less power connector.

Thanks for your input guys... Sounds like its worth it. I will probably get a 6gb model as the prices are going down
